1950's
British Pedigree Bear with Label - £75.00
  Very
handsome old British Pedigree bear, a superb example retaining his
"Pedigree - Made in England" label to top of back seam. He's 13.5
inches in height with original 50's style plastic eyes, hard velvet nose (nose
may have been replaced or recovered but nicely done if so) and good veleveteen
pads. All joints are good, no saggy areas, holes or stains and his neck ribbon
looks original too. As you can see the mohair coverage is superb for it's years.
There's a non working squeaker/growler device in his tummy.

Antique
14" British Chad Valley Mohair Bear with
Label - £69.00
  This
adorable antique Chad Valley bear dates to the 1940's. He's fully jointed with
glass eyes, nice nose/mouth stitching (minor wear as you can see) and excellent coverage of mohair
with just a couple of small worn areas (as to be expected) and an old darn to
one back arm seam. One paw pad has been nicely replaced with thick brown leather
over the years, the rest are the original felt with hardly any wear at all. This
delightful antique teddy bear measures 14 inches inches in height and
still retains his faded "Chad Valley Toymakers to HM the Queen" label to one foot.

Ca 1950's British Farnell
Squeaking Bear - £55.00
  Very
sweet British vintage Farnell bear dating to around the late 1950's. He's a
lovely sturdy fellow, 13 inches in height, fully
jointed with excellent coverage of mohair. He has his original rexine pads which
are worn but only one pad has a small hole and he still retains the remnants of his red and white Farnell label
within his tummy seam. Minor wear to nose stitching but overall in excellent clean condition for his years, his squeaker
still works too!!.

1940's British Chad Valley Bear with
Label - SOLD
  If
like me you're a fan of well loved antique bears with lots of character this is
the one for you!. He's an early 12" British Chad Valley Bear dating to the 1940's with fully jointed head and limbs, original glass eyes and non working squeaker in his tummy. The mohair has almost all been loved away,
the stuffing is saggy, there's been a couple of old mends and his felt pads are very worn but he's still clung on to his early blue and white Chad label on his foot!. The nose/mouth stitching are all original, he's an extremely lovable antique bear who would display beautifully with a "hug" of early bears or compliment a collection of antique dolls.
1950's British Bear (possibly
Farnell) - £45.00
  16"
vintage British bear dating to the 1950's no label but possibly by Farnell. He's a bright golden mohair with original glass eyes, pretty good coverage of fur (expected light wear and balding/dirt around back seam) and jointed arms and legs. The nose/mouth stitching and rexine pads are all original with no damage.

1940's/50's Large Original German Steiff Bear - SOLD
  Fabulous old straw stuffed Steiff
bear dating to the 1940's/50's, a handsome solid chunky character with long spoon type arms, big fat tummy and huge feet!.
He's 17 inches in height with original glass eyes and worn felt pads (some straw exposed to pads and one has been partially replaced but all claws intact).
There's some worn areas of mohair as you can see, some thinning to muzzle cloth/nose stitching and he's lost his button/label but overall a wonderful old character.
All joints are good, no saggy areas at all and his growler still works too!

German Steiff tiger, approx 10 inches in length, all original with beautiful green glass
eyes and original nose/mouth stitching. He's lost his label but overall in very good condition apart from a little mohair
loss as you can see.

Labeled Bear - SOLD
  Adorable Deans labelled bear, 12 inches in height,
dating to around the 1950's. He has an excellent coverage of mohair, original pink mouth stitching, felt button nose, velveteen pads (minor wear to one paw pad as seen) firmly soft stuffed limbs, straw stuffed head and torso.
Lovely clean condition, joints all nice and tight, retaining Deans Childsplay Ragbook label to hip.

Antique German Glass Eyed Cat with Tin Kersa ID's

  Superb old straw stuffed German glass eyed cat with the tin ID badge still intact on his foot "Kersa - Made in Germany".
He's a lovely solid character with adorable expression, long tail, felt ears, and shoes (a couple of small holes to felt) and one set of whiskers.
This wonderful old cat is 7 inches in height, overall in excellent clean condition for his years and a lovely rare
character (lots more photos available on request!).
1950's German Hermann Zotty Bear -

  Dating to the 1950's, this cheeky faced
vintage German Zotty Hermann bear is in excellent clean condition for his years. He's 10 inches in height, fully jointed with original glass eyes and open mouth. He has an excellent coverage of long shaggy mohair
with just very minor wear to tummy fur from squeaker being pressed (now inoperative). All nose, mouth, claw stitching and felt paw pads are excellent and original. He even still has the red string around his neck which would have held the card Hermann swing tag.

11" British Chad Valley Mohair Bear with
Label - SOLD
  I
was told this old fellow was given the name "Wobbly head Ted" by his
original owner when her baby brother got a little rough with him!!. He dates to
the early 1950's and is fully jointed with original glass eyes, nose/mouth
stitching and "fair" coverage of mohair for his years with old worn
areas as you can see. The rexine pads are all original, showing wearing but no
holes or tears. He has a non working squeaker in his tummy. Joints are all good
apart from the head which is loose and wobbly as mentioned but I don't think its
in danger of falling off!! Measuring 11 inches inches in height, he still
retains the "Chad Valley Hygenic Toys" label beneath one arm.

  This
adorable 1950's vintage Chad Valley bear would make an ideal gift or a special addition to any antique bear or doll collection. He's fully jointed with excellent thick coverage of mohair (apart from
a worn area to back where there's also a few added stitches on seam) and original glass eyes, nose/mouth stitching. One paw pad has been nicely replaced with brown felt over the years, the rest are all original with hardly any wear. As you can see he's overall in excellent condition for his years, nice and clean too!. He retains his "Chad Valley Toymakers to HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother" label to one foot and also has the remains of white and blue Chad label to side seam. 14 inches in height.

vintage British Deans bear is in excellent clean condition retaining his Deans Rag Book label to side seam
(Childsplay/Babysafe). He's a nice chunky 20 inches in height with original amber plastic eyes, excellent coverage of fur, original shaved muzzle and nose/mouth stitching. The velveteen pads are also original and in very good condition for their years.

the late 1950's. He's a lovely heavy sturdy bear with fully jointed head and

collectable golly doll is 15.5 inches in height and in mint condition. Wearing
his mint original outfit he has a sweet little pom pom nose and a big shock of

  Steiff Record Teddy Rose 1913 replica made in 1991
by Steiff for "The Museum Collection". He's a beautiful light rose mohair and moves to and fro whilst squeaking when his cart is pulled along.
He would make a lovely gift or
ideal to display with antique dolls. These bears were a Limited Edition of only 4000 worldwide.

  Large size Hermann Teddy Original Bear made by hand in the Hermann factory Germany (ca 1990's). He's a lovely powder pink mohair with jointed head and limbs and fully working growler in his tummy (very loud!). He retains all his Hermann tags around his neck and is a limited Edition number of 2980 out of the 4000 made worldwide. Mint condition,
