Old English Chiltern Hugmee
Teddy Bear - 1950s - £95.00
    Dating to the 1950s this adorable Old English Chiltern Hugmee bear is 11 inches in height. A super little character, fully jointed with original glass eyes, velveteen pads and fully working squeaker in his tummy (cute!). A couple of worn areas to his long thick mohair and rubbing to the velveteen pads with an old mend to one but overall a lovely clean bear who poses well. Joints all good, there are no stains or odours of any kind.

Old 1950s 16" Glass Eyed Teddy Bear - Excellent condition! -
SOLD
    Ca 1950s
vintage teddy bear, 16 inches in height with original glass eyes and superb
coverage of golden cotton plush fur. A very solidly stuffed immaculately clean
bear with good pose to head and limbs and original nose/mouth stitching.
Condition is excellent, no dirt, damage or odours, photos don't do him
enough justice at all.

English Deans Bear with Original Card Tag and Label - SOLD
    Super condition vintage
Deans teddy bear complete with his card neck tag and label. He's 15 inches in
height, jointed with lovely mohair coverage, plastic eyes, original
nose/mouth stitching and flock pads. Excellent clean bear I can't fault him
apart from only minor fur wear, light scuffs to eyes and
some age discolouration to the flock pads.

English Chad Valley 1950s Bear - 11 Inches - £55.00
    Totally adorable little Chad Valley teddy bear dating to the 1950s. He's 11 inches in height, fully jointed and all original with the 50s style lock in plastic eyes (fade to one pupil), excellent nose/mouth stitching and rexine pads (a couple of which have holed). A lovely clean bear with some areas of
wear to mohair but overall good coverage for years (most wear being around muzzle). Joints a tad floppy but he can still strike a nice pose. He wears a sweet vintage knitted waistcoat which suits him well. He's lost his label over the years, there's a non working squeaker in his tummy.

1950s Old English Chad Valley Golden Mohair Teddy Bear - £125.00
    Dating to the 1950s this handsome golden mohair Chad Valley teddy bear is 15 inches in height. A super old
character, fully jointed with original "coal" nose/mouth stitching amber/black glass eyes, rexine pads (with surface wear) and non working squeaker in his tummy. A good clean bear with some wear to his long shaggy mohair but still plenty left as you can see (small hole near neck joint). He has a nice old paper written label attached to ribbon at his neck which is nice to keep with him.

Vintage German Schuco bear with Bell - SOLD
   Dating
to the 1950's this wonderful little Schuco bear is just 3.5 inches in height and
comes from my own collection. Fully jointed with lovely mohair coverage,
all original black bead eyes, nose and mouth stitching. Excellent condition for
years, complete with sweet little bell on a ribbon!.
1950's British Pedigree Bear with Label -

   Very handsome old British Pedigree bear from the 1950's retaining his "Pedigree - Made in England" label to top of back seam. He's 14 inches in height, all original with the early "lock in" plastic eyes, hard velvet nose, velveteen pads (rubbed but no holes) and retains the factory ribbon around his neck. All joints are good, no saggy areas, holes, stains or odours. Overall mohair coverage is good, the most wear being to limbs as you can see. There's a non working squeaker/growler device in his tummy.

   Dating to the 1950's this vintage
9 inch European teddy bear is a really handsome little boy in fabulous all original condition. He has a perfect coverage of cotton plush fur, glass eyes and full pose to head/limbs. He's a super quality solidly stuffed bear who's very clean, I can't fault him apart from a minor little hole to one paw pad.
My photos don't do him justice, he's even cuter in real life!.

Fur a little dusty and would benefit a comb to fluff the pile up but no holes or
odours.

a white label to side seam and visible label outline to foot paw where there's a small hole. He wears his original factory ribbon around his neck.

English Merrythought Cheeky Bear with label - SOLD
    Ca
1960s/70s Merrythought cheeky teddy bear, a superb example with
Merrythought label retained to sole of one foot. 10 inches in height with
jointed limbs, original pads and jangling bells in his ears. A
good clean bear with excellent mohair coverage, I really can't fault him apart
from a single loose claw stitch to one foot and minor light rubs to pads. A
fabulous old Cheeky for display!. No odours of any kind.
VERY RARE FIND.. 1950's Chiltern Hugmee Ting-a-Ling Bear -
SOLD
    This 1950's British Chiltern Hugmee is a very rare old teddy bear and an exciting find as he's unusually fitted with the Ting-a-Ling mechanism (now inoperative). He's 15 inches in height, fully jointed with all original amber/black glass eyes and rexine pads. Some wear to his golden mohair as you can see although I feel his true coverage
is nicer than the photos. The rexine pads have surface wear but still strong and sturdy, no holes. Overall a lovely clean example of this very rare old English teddy bear, no odours of any kind.
Old German Original Steiff Teddy Bear with Button and Label -
SOLD
    Ca 1950s
original German Steiff teddy bear retaining his ear button and faded cloth label. A nice chunky 15 inches in height, fully jointed, straw stuffed with glass eyes. He retains good nose, mouth and claw stitching. A good clean bear for years, some mohair wear as you can see but no stains, holes or odours of any kind. Two pads possibly replaced (minor difference to felt colour) but very nicely done if so with the tiniest of stitches. Joints all good and sturdy, limbs still strike full pose. I can feel a non working growler/squeaker in his tummy.

Old 1960s German Schuco Bear with label - SOLD
   Dating
to the 1960s this lovely old German Schuco Bigo Bello bear still retains
his "Schuco Bigo Bello - Made in West Germany" label to left leg seam.
17 inches in height, unjointed but semi poseable as these bears were made with
internal wires to limbs. Glass eyes with good coverage of mohair and
fully working squeaker in his tummy. Lovely condition for his years, no
stains or odours, just a tiny amount of wear to the felt pads.
RARE FIND.. 1950's
British Chiltern Ting-a-Ling Bruin Bear - SOLD
    Dating to the early 1950's this 16 inch
British Chiltern Ting-a-Ling Bruin is a very rare old bear who still jingles away beautifully when shaken or tipped up. The "Ting-a-Ling" action works via an internal cardboard tube fitted with a ring of metal teeth - a clapper suspended from the top of the tube strikes each tooth when the bear is shaken or tipped up making the lovely jingling/tinkling sound. He's fully jointed with all original amber/black glass eyes, shaved muzzle nose, mouth and foot claw stitching. Excellent velveteen pads and card lined feet also all original (no label). Some wear to his long mohair as you can see although I feel his true coverage looks much nicer than the photos. Overall a lovely clean example, rare to find fully operational too. No odours of any kind.

17 inch British Deans Labeled Bear -
SOLD
   Handsome
old Dean's bear, 17 inches in height, fully jointed with original hard
rubberised? nose (squashed!) and fair coverage of long mohair with old worn
areas as you can see. Lightly grubby but no tears or odours, the original
velveteen pads are rubbed but only one small hole to the wrist seam. Joints a
little floppy but he still strikes a good pose!. Non working growler in his
tummy, a few scuffs to the glass eyes. Dean's Rag Book Ltd label to sole of one
foot.

Blonde Bear with Label

   Very
sweet little vintage Farnell blonde bear circa 1950's, a lovely small size of
9.5 inches, fully
jointed with very good coverage of mohair (just a couple of worn areas to limbs),
original cotton pads (two little holes) and red and white Farnell label to his
upper tummy
seam. Nice clean condition for his years, no marks, stains or odours. Non
working squeaker in his tummy.
